The bonus is calculated as 20% of the amount you add to your MT5 account, not the amount you deposit into your Deriv Wallet.

This means:

• Only the funds you move into an eligible MT5 account (CFDs or Financial) are considered
• Any funds remaining outside the MT5 account are not included in the calculation

For example: if you deposit 200 USD into your Deriv Wallet but only move 100 USD into your MT5 account, your bonus will be 20% of 100 USD — giving you 20 USD in free margin and the capacity to trade positions worth up to 120 USD.
